Merry Wives of Windsor

I thoroughly enjoyed this performance as it was lively and very funny. The live band was brillaint and I really liked the visual aspects like the rotating staging and the fairytale costumes. One of the few Shakespeare comedies I actually felt entertained by.

Urashima Taro After Session

This little meeting gave me more of an insight to the director and actor's intentions for the performance. It was interesting to learn about how the female lead made the puppets and her history of puppeteering. But it did not help me my anxiety from the performance.

Urashima Taro

I was extremely unsettled by the puppets and was very uncomfortable during the sex scene. I did not know how to take in this performance, however the symbolism was beautiful. I did enjoy the use of the Japanese miniature paper theatre, but overall I did not like this performance.

Kupeng Kwa Hamlet

Definately something I wasn't expecting. It was entertaining and very experimental and fun, especially with the boiler suit costumes, minimal sets and the South African songs. However, I am still unsure if I liked this style in which Hamlet was portrayed.

Blithe Spirit

I did not enjoy this show as much, but I thought Alison Steadman's performance was hilariously brilliant. I also thought the set and costume were amazing, especially the red dress the female lead wore at the begining of the performance. There were moments that I that I was urging the acts to end.

Lilly Through the Dark

I thought this was the best show I have seen. The music, costume, staging, lighting and actor's performance was excellent. It reminded of a Tim Burton film, but overall a great performance!

Enron

Overall I thought the show to be well choreographed and the visual effects were great. However, I didn't really have that much of an understanding about the stockmarket so it was harder for me to enjoy. The actor's performances were well done but I felt the last ten minutes of the show dragged on a bit too long.
